What is at stake

2.5 million Darfuries are at stake.

The fate of the U.S. is at stake. The western "religion" of consumer capitalism has all but destroyed any vestiges of our humanity. Humanity is the counter to entropy (2nd law of Thermodynamics) the tendency of everything to decay.

Darfur is the West's last best hope to come alive, to regain its Humanity and to avoid the Armageddon of implosion to entropy. So far we in the west have shamelessly exploited Darfur for feelings of undeserved self righteousness for hanging banners and one day fasts from a luxury.
